Inside ETFs – billed as the world’s largest ETF conference – wrapped up only a few weeks ago, but our calendar is already starting to fill up with other ETF conferences and events this year.

Nottingham is dedicated to being an involved, supportive partner of all the ETF issuers we work with, and because of that commitment, we make it a point to stay current on all the events that are relevant to the industry.

Here are some of the conferences and events that you might just happen to see someone from Nottingham attending this year.

Mutual Fund Industry Awards 2018 – April 12, 2018

For the first time, Fund Intelligence – publisher of Fund Action, Fund Operations and Fund Technology, among others – has merged the annual Mutual Fund Awards and ETF Awards, being held on April 12 at Cipriani in New York City.

Awards will be handed out in categories including smart beta ETF of the year, active ETF of the year and thematic ETF of the year.

Spring ETP Forum – April 24, 2018

It may be a one-day conference, but the Spring ETP Forum provides a comprehensive look at the trends dominating the ETF industry today.

Since it started in November 2014, the Forum has changed locations, increased its attendance exponentially and attracted hundreds of advisors and ETF issuers alike.

Topics that will be discussed at length include volatility strategies, top sectors for 2018 and the rise of the roboadvisor.

Morningstar Investment Conference – June 11-13, 2018

One of the premier investing and finance conferences of the year, the Morningstar Investment Conference has already announced several noteworthy speakers, including Walter Bettinger of Charles Schwab and behavioral economist Daniel Kahneman.

Keeping with the theme of merged events, Morningstar has folded its annual ETF Conference into its larger one for the first time this year.

If you can make it out to Chicago for the conference, you’re sure to find it to be a worthwhile experience.

Global Indexing & ETFs – June 25-27, 2018

The Global Indexing & ETFs conference is expected to attract the greatest minds in the ETF industry – and not just because it’s taking place in beautiful Dana Point, Calif.

Last year, the event brought us panels and discussions on timely, relevant topics such as how to manage a successful ETF launch, navigating emerging markets and the pros and cons of indexing.
